Synopsis
Court dismissed failure-to-sign-lease-renewal holdover because the proposed renewal lease was defective: it did not clearly state the preferential rent on the face of the DHCR-prescribed standard lease renewal form as required by the Rent Stabilization Code. Landlord's attempt to remedy this by attaching a separate preferential rent rider was insufficient.
